PLC Engineer
Function
You are in charge of the functional analysis of the clients requests. You perform the technical analysis and define which components and/ PLC configurations are necessary to reach the clients’ requirements. On site you will be executing IO-tests and start-up the developed software and/or applications. You will write the accompanying documentation for the software. When necessary you will provide training and support to the clients.
Profile
- you have a degree in Computer Science / Engineering / IT or equivalent through experience
- you have at least 2 years experience in the development of Siemens S7
- knowledge of fieldbus systems i.e. Profibus and Interbus is an asset
- you are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a serious advantage
- you have a analytical mindset and are customer oriented
- you are creative, innovative, a problem solver and a good communicator
- you are eager to learn and are up-to-date on the latest developments in IT
- you are able to cope with tight deadlines and are stress resistant
- you are willing to travel (on some occasions for a long period)
- you are in a possession of a driving licence B
