Scheduler, Cost & Safety coordinator
Function
This role is divided in 3 core roles: resource planning, cost analysis and follow-up, site safety and security coordination.
As Scheduler your task is to plan available resources based on forecasts and/or reservations delivered from the Sales and Solution department. In collaboration with the line managers of the different engineering disciplines the goal is to establish planning schedules that are both realistic and responsive to the client needs.
As Cost analyzer your task is to continuously compare and analyze the costs made by the engineering departments versus the forecasts and take-off costs prepared by the Solution Department. Based on your analysis you propose actions to improve our work methods and project management.
As Safety coordinator you are responsible for the follow-up of on site safety and security both in Belgium and abroad.
In this role you are reporting directly to the Division Manager, Engineering & Operations.
Profile
- you have a degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent through experience
- you are Safety and Prevention Level II certified
- you have 5 to 10 years experience in industrial automation projects
- you are fluent in Dutch, French and English. A good knowledge of German is an advantage
- you have an analytical mindset
- you are creative, innovative, a problem solver with excellent communication skills
- you have planning and organisation skills, you are stress resistant, assertive and customer oriented
- you are willing to travel (on some occasions for extended periods)
- you are in a possession of a driving licence B
