Main Accountant
Function
Being a main accountant at Intrion, you will work autonomously and report directly to the CEO. You will liaise closely with the project managers of Intrion for the monthly follow-up of projects. You will also have regular contacts with the other operational services to prepare budgets and monitor costs.
An accounts administrator will be working alongside the main accountant and will inter alia enter customer invoices, produce payment files, process incoming CODAs and monitor debtors. You will see to the follow-up of the tasks of the accounts administrator. Outgoing invoices will be processed by the services responsible.
The accounting for our subsidiary in the Netherlands will be handled locally by an administrative officer in charge and closed by a Dutch fiduciary. Reporting from the Netherlands to Intrion is provided on a monthly basis. It will be your responsibility to ensure the figures of the Dutch subsidiary are incorporated in the global Intrion reporting.
As a main accountant you will thus be responsible for the accounting from A to Z. More specifically you will check that invoices are allocated to the right cost centres and accounts and see to the reconciliation of accounts. Furthermore you will be responsible for the Intrastat and VAT declarations, the calculation of the corporate income tax, the verification of payments in Isabel and much more.
Profile
- You have at least 5 years experience in the above job duties.
- You are assertive and have strong communication skills.
- You are result-oriented and think along with the business.
- You are flexible and have a no-nonsense mentality.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision / ERP is an asset.
